🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
An officer from the 28th Air Division at Hamilton AFB, California, observed an intense blue-white light at night on December 14, 1956. The object, described as spherical and of unknown size, was visible for six seconds and moved in a straight line toward the west (approximately 270 degrees). The observation was made from the ground and corroborated by local flight facilities. Although a meteor was considered as a possible explanation, no preliminary analysis was conducted. The report was prepared by the officer of the day.
