🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1956, a witness in Denver, Colorado, spotted a bright white spherical object in the sky. The observer described it as being as large as the full moon but much brighter, with a tail-like "handle" extending from the rear. Initially thought to be an aircraft, the object lacked wings or windows, and its intense light illuminated the Hudson River. The sighting lasted only a few seconds, and the object disappeared mysteriously, as if shrinking and fading out. Although photos were taken, they were never received, complicating the official evaluation.
The official assessment concluded that the data was insufficient to determine the nature of the object. However, the detailed account suggests it was neither a balloon, an aircraft, nor a common astronomical phenomenon. The case remains one of many UFO reports that defy clear explanation, and the detailed description of the "handle" and intense brightness makes it a notable testimony.
