In February 1953, the CIA submitted a report to the Intelligence Advisory Committee on unidentified flying objects (UFOs). This document, declassified decades later, reveals that a scientific panel reviewed over 75 well-documented cases from 1951 to 1952. The report concluded that there was no real threat to national security, but recommended preventive measures to avoid unnecessary fear and public distrust. It proposed removing the special status given to UFOs and promoting civic education to quickly recognize genuine signs of hostility. The document also includes testimonies, photographs, and radar analyses, showing the thorough approach taken during a time of heightened security concerns.
