🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1957, a witness in Burbank, California, reported two unidentified flying objects near the Lockheed Air Terminal, a busy area on the West Coast. The objects displayed flashing red and green lights and suddenly reversed course at high altitude. Initially thought to be balloons or meteors, the unusual characteristics suggested something more extraordinary. The sighting was officially recorded and considered not to be a conventional phenomenon.
The report details that one object had a white light with red and green flashing, while the other showed tail lights. Both moved east to west but then reversed their path and disappeared. Despite the heavy air traffic in the area, no clear identification was made. The report concluded that it was neither an astronomical event nor a conventional aircraft, leaving the possibility of an unexplained phenomenon open.
