🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A farmer in Laport, Minnesota, reported in 1957 the observation of a bright star-shaped object slowly rising southward. The object, the size of a dime, was seen for 25 minutes before disappearing into the distance. Although no photos were taken, the witness accurately described its shape, brightness, and trajectory. The duration and behavior of the object led investigators to conclude it was likely a balloon. This case, classified under Project 10073, shows how UFO reports were rigorously analyzed during the Cold War.
