🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1957, an observer in Belleview, Florida reported a white object moving slowly westward. It was observed for over an hour using 7x50 binoculars, and investigators concluded it was an astronomical object, likely a star. The steady speed and direction supported this analysis.
The next day, eight to ten white lights were seen moving rapidly from north to south. Although the observation lasted only five seconds, researchers concluded it was probably a meteor disintegrating in the atmosphere. In both cases, no photos were taken and the reports relied on civilian observations.
