Cigar-shaped UFO seen over Reseda

In 1957, a witness in Reseda, California reported a cigar-shaped object, roughly the size of a DC-6 aircraft, hovering at an altitude of 300 to 450 meters. The object remained stationary in the northwest sky, surrounded by an elliptical golden glow. The core of the object was five times brighter than the outer light, with a flickering yellow color. The witness saw no sound, exhaust, or trail, and the object vanished suddenly, like a light being turned off. The observation lasted between three and five minutes, but the exact time was not recorded, and no other witnesses were reported.
