In April 1957, a witness in Shelton, Washington, observed an unusual glowing object. They described a greenish-orange light approximately 6 to 8 feet in diameter, with a tail resembling that of a helicopter. The object traveled east to west at jet-like speed and was visible for 2 to 3 minutes. Despite the detailed description, investigators concluded it was likely an aircraft.
