🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1957, a witness in El Centro, California, reported a mysterious object rapidly ascending into the sky. It was described as a round object, the size of a pinhead, with a silver and white color. Despite radar searches failing to detect it, the officer in charge concluded it was likely a balloon. In the same area, another sighting described an orange object the size of a dime that moved in repetitive patterns for fifteen minutes. Although a balloon was considered, military aircraft illumination lights were also mentioned as a possibility. The reports from that era reflect uncertainty and the need for more data to evaluate these phenomena.
