🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1957, a witness in East Tawas, Michigan observed an oval object with a double disk effect that changed from white to red. The object moved quickly in front of a star cluster before disappearing. The observation lasted 30 minutes, but there were no photographs or sufficient data to reach a conclusive evaluation. The official report marked "Insufficient data for evaluation," reflecting the ambiguity of the phenomenon.
The report includes details such as the object's direction (320 degrees) and the intensity of its light, but there was no radar or further tracking. Despite the detailed description, investigators could not determine if it was a balloon, aircraft, astronomical event, or something else. This case is typical of UFO reports from the era, where limited technology hindered analysis.
