🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1957, an object was sighted in Hialeah, Florida, generating a record in Project 10073. The report describes a round object with a tail, the size of a quarter, white with an orange tail. The tail was three times longer than the body. Although initially considered the possibility of a balloon or a meteor, an aircraft was also mentioned. The observation lasted only five seconds, limiting the amount of information obtained.
The report concludes that the object was probably a balloon, although other explanations were not ruled out. The brevity of the observation and the lack of additional data made a more precise evaluation difficult. This case, like many others, reflects the uncertainty surrounding UFO sightings during that time.
