🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1957, a woman in Dayton, Ohio, observed a bright object for nearly an hour. The object, described as a bright white light the size of a baseball or flashlight, moved erratically around a transmission tower. Despite its unexpected movement, military personnel concluded it could be a balloon. The sighting occurred on a clear night with 10 miles visibility and strong winds at high altitudes. The object eventually disappeared to the west without going below the horizon.
