🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1957, a couple in Seattle observed a series of globular objects moving across the sky at an astonishing speed. Six to nine white, green-tinged spheres appeared for just one second, tracing an arc of 1/16 of the sky. According to the report, one of the witnesses had seen similar phenomena before, adding a touch of familiarity to the unusual event. The description of movement so fast that it covered 45 degrees in a second caught the attention of investigators. Although initially considered balloons or aircraft, the conclusion was that it was a bright meteor, a bolide that had already exploded. The observation, made from a home in north Seattle, was detailed and clear, though no photos or radar were used.
