🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1957, three round and luminous objects appeared over Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Observers saw them for two minutes, displaying white and red lights. Initially thought to be an aircraft, the dimmer sound and visual description led investigators to conclude it was a conventional plane. However, the description and duration of the sighting created some confusion.
Two additional witnesses reported seeing a white light from their car, thinking it was a flare. Despite no air traffic being recorded in the area at that time, the official conclusion was that the sighting was caused by an aircraft. The official report did not include photographs, but it does include testimonies from several people, adding credibility to the case. The analysis of the available data did not confirm an unidentified object, but left room for doubts.
