🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1957, a military unit recorded an object on radar in Houma, Louisiana, for 14 minutes. The object moved in the direction of ESE-SE-E-NE and did not display a typical moving target trail. Although photos were taken, the evaluation pointed to anomalous propagation as the most likely cause. The basis for this conclusion was the lack of a clear pattern and possible interference from other radar stations. The report was sent for further analysis but no definitive classification was reached.
