In July 1957, multiple witnesses in Los Angeles reported unidentified flying objects that appeared to be balloons with attached flames. One report described a round object, the size of a half-dollar, moving slowly and shining like a star. Some witnesses saw it through binoculars and compared it to a soap bubble. Others reported silent explosions resembling small mushroom clouds, in white and orange hues. Although weather balloons were noted in the area, no conclusive evidence was found. The investigation included testimonies from people of various ages, from children to adults, who described luminous objects moving silently.
