🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1957, a witness in New York described three bright objects resembling medium-sized stars. They moved in a straight line toward the south for one minute, without making noise or showing unusual behavior. Although initially considered as balloons or astronomical phenomena, investigators concluded it was likely an aircraft in flight. The detailed description and linear trajectory suggest a conventional explanation, though no photos or radar were used to confirm.
