🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1957, a witness in Albany, New York, spotted two green objects that appeared suddenly and vanished without explanation. They were described as possibly stars or ice crystals, but their unusual color and behavior drew attention. Although no movement was reported, multiple observers confirmed the presence of the objects for a few seconds. The lack of precise data and the inability to confirm with radar led to the case being classified as insufficient for a definitive evaluation.
Military and civilian reports agreed it could be a meteor, but the testimony did not provide enough information to rule out other possibilities. Despite the brief sighting, the case was shared with multiple intelligence and air defense units, reflecting the importance given to UFO reports at that time.
