🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A U.S. Air Force intelligence officer documented a UFO sighting in Texas in 1957. The object had the shape of an isosceles triangle and was moving at an astonishing speed, twice as fast as an F-100 aircraft. The observer, an employee of Southern Pacific Railroad with prior Air Force experience, saw the object under a partly cloudy sky with morning sunlight. The Air Force found no matching aerial activity, raising doubts about the object's identity.
The description included a faint vapor trail and a size comparable to a golf ball seen at arm's length. The responsible officer considered it might be an F-102, but the speed and maneuverability didn't match typical aircraft. No physical evidence or photographs were found, and the investigation concluded without a definitive explanation. The report was filed unresolved, adding mystery to this 1957 case.
