🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A round orange object was spotted in Tacoma, Washington, in 1957. The witness described it as the size of the end of a cigarette and saw it moving quickly towards the southwest. The observation was brief, lasting only a few seconds, and was recorded as a ground visual sighting. Although the possibility of a balloon or meteor was considered, the final conclusion was that it was likely an astronomical or meteorological object.
