🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1957, multiple UFO sightings were reported in Santa Monica, California. A report described two round objects, the size of a pea, silver in color, stacked one on top of the other. The upper object occasionally drifted to the left before returning to its original position. Witnesses included six civilians and a highly reliable observer, Eileen Schrader, aged 47. Although possibilities such as balloons, aircraft, or celestial bodies like Venus and Jupiter were considered, no definitive conclusion was reached.
Weather conditions were clear, with visibility of 10 miles and calm winds. The report was sent to several military units and air intelligence centers. Despite multiple testimonies and detailed observations, the data was insufficient for a conclusive evaluation, leaving the nature of the observed objects unresolved.
