🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Oklahoma City observed a round, silver or aluminum object the size of a half-dollar. The object was ascending straight up, moving in circular patterns and hovering in the air for 7 to 8 minutes. The object's description and behavior initially caused some confusion, but investigators considered the possibility of a weather balloon. Indeed, balloons were being released across the U.S. around that time, supporting this explanation. Although no photos were taken and there was no sound, the visual testimony was detailed and consistent.
The sighting was officially recorded by Project 10073, a program investigating unidentified aerial phenomena. The report includes data such as the exact time of the sighting (0045Z), precise location, and type of observation (ground visual). Although the object was not clearly identified, the temporal and spatial context suggests a conventional explanation. This case is an example of how UFO reports often resolve with known natural or technological explanations.
