🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1957, an observer in Paso Robles, California, reported a silver circular object moving northwest. The sighting described a slow-spinning object the size of a baseball, visible for four minutes. Although the initial report seemed detailed, it was concluded to be unreliable, possibly due to the youth of the witnesses. A second account, from a 17-year-old, described a silver sphere that appeared and disappeared quickly. Despite the officer in charge considering the report "fairly reliable," others doubted its credibility. The sighting location, a boys' correctional institution, adds an intriguing context to this case.
