In 1947, near Tashkent, in the Soviet Union, an unusual aerial phenomenon was reported. Witnesses in the region regularly observed a luminous object appearing every 15 minutes, between 9 and 10 PM local time. This object, described as a ball of fire, moved along a prolonged trajectory, with colors shifting from bright red to pale green and white. No noises or explosions were heard, adding mystery to the event. Estimates suggest the object was between 5,000 and 12,000 meters high, and its size was considerable, comparable to the full moon.
The report, though officially unevaluated, includes a sketch showing the object's trajectory. Field comments express doubts about the accuracy of the measurements, but highlight the absence of typical projectile sounds or signals. This document, part of a second interrogation, suggests the phenomenon had no clear explanation at the time. Although no definitive conclusion was reached, the case remains an interesting account of a UFO event in the early history of unidentified flying object reports.
