Summary

In September 1957, two airmen at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa observed an oval-shaped object glowing like a fluorescent light. The object, described as slightly larger than a grapefruit and translucent, made four north-south passes without making any sound. Although a kite or balloon was considered, the object remained unidentified. Both witnesses described it in detail and noted the regular intervals between appearances.

The official evaluation marked it as "unidentified," and the responsible officer noted the lack of a conventional explanation. Despite weather data and no air traffic in the area, the phenomenon remains unresolved in military records.
