🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1957, a witness in San Antonio, Texas, described a cylindrical aluminum object the size of a fountain pen. He saw it for a few seconds while hearing a jet noise. Although the initial report considered it likely an aircraft, the officer noted that modern jet designs could sometimes only show the fuselage, leading to confusion.
A second report from the same month described a red, round object the size of a pinhead, observed for over two minutes. The witness, a soldier, saw it moving from south to northwest. Although no photos or radar data were taken, investigators concluded it was probably an aircraft, based on the description and trajectory.
