A 1957 report describes the sighting of a bright object over Kennesaw, Georgia. A civilian witness observed a round, bright light, about half the size of a dime, moving rapidly into the distance. The officer in charge of the report confirmed the phenomenon could be a reflection from a high-intensity searchlight bouncing off scattered clouds. A C-47 pilot also confirmed the presence of a light in Atlanta. Although the witness was unaware of the searchlight, their view was restricted by trees. The light disappeared as the clouds moved, suggesting a natural explanation.
