🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian observer in Ely, Nevada, reported an object with a peculiar color and the size of the largest planet seen in the sky. The object moved from north to south and remained visible for two to three seconds. Although the possibility of a balloon, aircraft, or astronomical phenomenon was considered, the data was insufficient for a conclusive evaluation. It was finally concluded that it was likely a meteor. No additional reports were found in the files, leaving the case unresolved.
