In November 1957, an elderly woman in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, observed a bright white streak in the sky. The object, described as a straight line three feet long, left no trail and made no sound. The sighting lasted six to seven minutes, but the lack of details about its movement or path made evaluation difficult. The local air base recorded the event, but no clear conclusion was reached.
A second report, dated November 15 of the same year, describes an oval-shaped object the size of a basketball. It initially glowed white and, as it disappeared, seemed to emit red sparks. It was spinning and had protruding points. Although initially considered an astronomical phenomenon, it was ruled out after confirming that Venus was at the reported location and time. The nature of the object remains a mystery.
