🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, a witness in Greensboro, North Carolina, observed two unidentified flying objects for six minutes. Both measured between 100 and 200 feet in length and were moving one in front of the other. The most striking feature was their continuous red glow, which gradually faded. Despite the detailed description, no photos were taken and the report suggested it could be a conventional aircraft. The nature of the phenomenon remains a mystery, but the civilian testimony offers an intriguing clue.
The official evaluation did not rule out the possibility of a balloon or astronomical phenomenon, but the most likely conclusion pointed to an airplane. However, the description of the red light and the unusual behavior of the objects raise questions. This case, though brief, is part of the long history of unexplained sightings that have kept researchers busy for decades.
