Multicolored UFO over New Mexico 1957

Summary

A round object, the size of a quarter at arm's length, was observed in Radium Springs, New Mexico, on November 6, 1957. A military and civilian witness saw the object rising vertically from the top of the Organ Mountains, changing colors between red, green, blue, and white. For 10 minutes, the phenomenon remained visible before disappearing into a cloud bank. Despite the detailed description, the object could not be identified and was classified as unknown.

The description of color-changing and vertical movement generated some curiosity, but there were no photographs or radar data to confirm its nature. This case was archived without a clear explanation, adding to the list of unexplained aerial phenomena from the period.
