🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A bright star-like object was seen for over two hours from Shiroi Air Base in Japan in 1957. Both military and civilian personnel observed it moving steadily westward. Initially thought to possibly be a balloon or aircraft, investigators concluded it was the planet Venus. The report includes sketches and precise locations, but no photographs. Witnesses agreed it made no sound and shone like a star. The air base and surrounding areas were mapped in detail to document the sighting.
