🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, military personnel at Walker AFB (New Mexico) observed two unidentified flying objects. The first sighting showed a black object with a blue tail, resembling a vapor trail. The second appeared as a long, round tube that performed a complex 360-degree turn in a horseshoe pattern. Both were seen for a few minutes and then disappeared without a trace. Observers used binoculars and described movements that did not match conventional aircraft.
The basis of the reports was that the objects were not balloons or astronomical phenomena, and conventional explanations were ruled out. Despite detailed descriptions, there were no photographs or radar confirmation of the objects' nature. The report concluded it could be an aircraft, but the characteristics did not match any known plane at the time.
