🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, an observer in Alexandria, Louisiana, reported a bright pink object with a white, narrow, and uneven tail. The phenomenon lasted five seconds, and the object moved vertically, increasing in size as it descended. Although initially considered a balloon, aircraft, or meteor, the analysis concluded it was likely a meteor. The description, trajectory, and duration matched typical meteor characteristics. The report, part of Project 10073, found no conclusive evidence of an unidentified object.
The observation was recorded with precision, including the exact time and location. Despite no photographs or additional testimonies, the available data allowed the dismissal of other conventional explanations. The report also noted favorable weather conditions and the absence of local air activity at that time. This case is an example of how UFO reports often resolve with natural or known explanations.
