UFO sighted at Fort Bragg in 1957

Summary

In November 1957, a round object the size of a baseball was seen in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The witness described it as white and buzzing. The object climbed toward the northeast and disappeared from view. Another report mentioned a bright light the size of a small fingernail, moving in an oscillating path before stopping and then vanishing eastward. Although balloon and astronomical explanations were considered, investigators concluded it was probably an aircraft. The lack of photos and the brief observation add mystery to this case.
