🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, a soldier at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, observed a white, round object about the size of a baseball. The UFO appeared from the south and moved toward the northeast, remaining visible for three minutes. The report classified the sighting as probably an aircraft, though it was not identified with certainty. The witness, trained to observe and report, described the object's path and appearance in detail, adding credibility to the account.
The report includes two separate sightings: one of a bright object the size of a fingernail and another of a baseball-sized object. Both were recorded by military personnel and evaluated by intelligence officers. Although balloons or astronomical phenomena were considered, the most likely conclusion pointed to an aircraft. However, the mystery remains, as the object was not definitively identified.
