🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, a witness in Callicoon Center, New York, reported an unusual sighting. The object was described as elongated, about 25 feet long, bright and metallic silver in color. It was moving at high speed, which generated curiosity and confusion. The report, however, did not provide enough information for a conclusive evaluation. Although the possibility of it being an aircraft was considered, no definitive explanation could be determined.
The case was recorded as insufficient for a proper evaluation. Other possibilities such as balloons, astronomical objects, or aircraft were considered but none confirmed. This type of report reflects the ambiguity surrounding many sightings in the 1950s, an era when UFO hunting was common and data was often incomplete.
