🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, an officer at a Maryland hospital reported seeing an unidentified object in the sky. The object, described as a parachute or balloon, was slowly descending and began disintegrating as it fell. Upon reaching the ground, it shrank to the size of a cigarette paper and broke apart when attempts were made to pick it up. Military investigators arrived at the scene but found no significant physical remains. The possibility of cloud seeding operations or even migratory spiders was considered, but without a physical sample, no definitive conclusion could be reached. The lack of tangible evidence left the case unresolved, adding mystery to this event.
