🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A round object in red, white and blue colors, the size of a penny, was observed over Miami Beach, Florida, for ten minutes on November 17, 1957. The witness saw it rise and disappear from the sky. Although no photos were taken, the description, duration and flight path of the object led investigators to consider it likely a balloon. The sighting showed no signs of conventional aerial activity or astronomical phenomena, keeping its nature uncertain.
The report, classified under UFOB index, includes additional data on weather conditions and secondary observations, but does not provide elements that deviate from the balloon hypothesis. Despite the brief sighting, the prolonged visibility of the object and its striking colors make it an intriguing case within the extensive UFO file of that era.
