🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, an observer in Wood Glen, New Jersey, reported seeing a ball of fire with five red lights near the horizon. At first it seemed stationary, but soon movement toward the west was noticed. The object disappeared quickly, without leaving many clear details. It was seen at night, and the weather was clear, which made the observation possible.
The official report concluded that there was not enough information to determine the nature of the object. Several possible explanations were mentioned, such as lights from jets, buildings, emergency vehicles, or airports. The observer, although identified as part of the GOC, could not provide precise data on size, distance, or duration of the sighting. The case was filed as insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
