🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, a witness in Eagle Pass, Texas, observed a triangular object flying at high speed. The report describes a white, non-illuminated object maintaining a constant southbound course. Although balloon or aircraft possibilities were initially considered, the conclusion was that it was an astronomical meteor. The observer, an Air Force veteran, claimed to have seen the object for about four seconds, estimating its speed at over 1000 miles per hour.
A second object was spotted approximately 12 minutes later, with similar characteristics to the first. The report highlights that the observer clearly described details such as wing positions and the object's heading, suggesting a focused and detailed observation. Despite the lack of photographs or additional data, the report concludes the phenomenon was astronomical, though the precision of the observations and the witness's experience remain intriguing.
