🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, a Turkish pilot reported a hexagonal object 10 feet in diameter with a bright smoke-like color. The sighting occurred at 8,000 feet altitude and lasted 30 minutes, including a brief pursuit. The report, under Project 10073, failed to identify the object due to insufficient data. Officials considered the possibility of a reflection caused by common ground haze during that season.
Although the pilot described the object with precision, investigators concluded there was not enough information for a definitive evaluation. Options such as balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena were dismissed, but no clear explanation emerged. The case remains a classic example of an unresolved UFO sighting, where weather conditions and lack of concrete visual evidence hindered further analysis.
