🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1957, a U.S. Air Force pilot reported a UFO sighting in Baja California, Mexico. The incident occurred on November 22 at 19:40 local time, when the witness, en route to Las Vegas, noticed an object at extreme altitude. He observed it for five minutes, clearly for two, describing it as missile-like. According to the report, the UFO was believed to have crashed inland. Although the pilot didn't take photos, he provided details such as the object's course (110 degrees) and its unusual duration. Investigators concluded there was insufficient data to evaluate the case, noting inconsistencies in the report. The report also mentions no missile activity was recorded in the area, casting doubt on the sighting's authenticity.
The case includes sketches from the witness and an officer, depicting a disc-shaped object with a rotating outer ring. The pilot claimed the object left impressions in the sand and that his car stalled, which he attributed to electromagnetic forces. Despite his experience as a pilot, he couldn't identify the object as any known vehicle. The final report classifies the case as "insufficient for evaluation," but the witness insisted the object was extraterrestrial. Declassified decades later, the document remains an unsolved mystery.
