🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, an observer in New Cambria, Missouri, spotted a large, opaque, round object for ten minutes. The witness, Harry Milliron, used binoculars to see the object, which showed no tail, trail, or exhaust and was moving very slowly southward without making any sound. Although elevation, azimuth, and weather details were not provided, the report concluded it was likely a balloon. The lack of detailed information hindered a more precise evaluation, but the flight characteristics and description clearly pointed to an aerostat. The report was processed by the 798th ACWRON, which did not conduct a preliminary analysis due to the lack of data.
