🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, a witness in Baffin Island, Canada, observed a star-like object for 6.5 minutes. The object had no tail and quickly disappeared behind a cloud. Although several explanations such as balloons or aircraft were considered, researchers concluded it might be a satellite. This report, part of Project 10073, does not include photos and was reported by a civilian technician.
The testimony describes a clearly defined object moving west to east, briefly disappearing behind a cloud. Despite the relatively long observation time, the object could not be identified with certainty. This case, like many from the era, reflects the uncertainty surrounding UFO sightings before the space age.
