🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, a witness in Las Vegas described a round, yellow object moving in a straight line. The sighting lasted between 5 and 7 seconds, and the object disappeared behind a mountain range. Although a meteor was considered, no definitive conclusions were reached. The report, classified by the Air Force, included no photos or radar data, limiting further evaluation. The witness, an electronics technician, stated it was not a common phenomenon.
The object's description and trajectory raised some controversy, as they did not match conventional objects. The Air Force evaluated weather and wind conditions but found no clear explanations. Despite ruling out some possibilities, such as balloons or aircraft, the final report concluded with "insufficient data for evaluation." The case was filed without resolution, but it remains an intriguing example of UFO reports from that era.
