🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, a witness in Hondo, Texas, spotted a cigar-shaped object the size of a half-dollar coin and green in color. The sighting lasted about 10 seconds and occurred while the person was driving down the road. The object was moving eastward at an approximate 60-degree elevation. Although no unusual activity was detected on radar, the report was deemed insufficient for conclusive evaluation.
The case, part of Project 10073, did not include photographs or significant additional data. The observer, a 40-year-old man, described the object with precision, but no definitive identification was made. As with many reports from that era, the file was closed without a clear explanation, leaving open the possibility of an unconventional aerial phenomenon or an unknown object.
