Summary

In November 1957, a witness in El Paso, Texas reported an egg-shaped object the size of a man with a bluish glow and a string of lights. The witness's car stalled and the lights went out, adding mystery to the sighting. The object approached, emitting a sound like an artillery shell, and then disappeared over the mountains. Although balloon or aircraft explanations were considered, the report deemed it unreliable.

A day later, another sighting in the same area showed a circular object the size of a 50-cent piece that changed color and faded. It was concluded to be a meteor. These cases, though brief, reflect the confusion and uncertainty surrounding UFO reports at that time.
