In November 1957, multiple witnesses in Long Beach, California, reported sightings of unidentified flying objects. The accounts describe small, bright objects with erratic movements. A USAF officer, along with weather observers, saw between five and six metallic objects darting rapidly within a storm. The sighting lasted about 90 seconds. Investigators considered possible explanations such as light reflections on ice or weather balloons, given the unusual weather conditions. While no definitive cause was found, conventional aircraft and astronomical phenomena were ruled out.
