🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, an observer in Belleville, Michigan, spotted a shiny bullet-shaped object, about three-quarters the size of a paper clip seen at arm's length. The object moved erratically, jumping around the sky. Initially thought to be a meteorite, the final conclusion suggested it was likely an astronomical phenomenon, possibly related to aerolite streamers. The report did not include photographs but was documented by military sources.
The object remained visible until it disappeared from sight, without a definitive identification. This case, like many from the era, highlights the challenge of distinguishing between unidentified flying objects and natural or artificial phenomena. Despite the lack of conclusive data, the report was filed under the category of "probably astronomical," closing another mystery in UFO history.
